Amazon Prime looking to enact a price hike
According to Deadline.com, Amazon is looking to hike up the cost of their Amazon Prime service:
The company could add as much as $40 to the current $79 annual fee, CFO Tom Szkutak told analysts in a conference call to discuss earnings. While no decisions have been made, he and other execs say that the current price has been in place for nine years. Over that time delivery and other costs have risen.
For a service that was JUST ranked by Yahoo as being the worst of all of the internet services, I’m not sure a price hike is really a good idea for the fledgling content provider. In the meantime, I’ll stick with Hulu.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
