Review: The Annoying Orange ‘Armagourdon’

An asteroid is heading for Earth and its measured at the same size as the grocery store. Orange gets the idea of driving the cart to the asteroid to plant a bomb. Pear opts to turn to the Pickles for help and it looks as though this dude ain’t fucking around and sets into motion a big huge plan which sees the fruit heading into space and landing on the asteroid. When they get there, the fruit have to pick a name out of a hat to see who can stay behind to cap the bomb inside the asteroid. Passion gets picked, but Orange decides to switch with her. One of the pickles aka Mr. Dillis decides to put himself in harm’s way instead of Orange. The asteroid blows up, but the band survives…

Alright, this one was OK. Armageddeon was a great movie, and the producers of AO hit all the right spots to make this one a doable effort. It wasn’t all that funny, and you knew what was going to happen at the end, but the Aerosmith band was KILLING me and pickles are delicious. There’s also this really great scene where the fruit are walking towards the shuttle with the light shining through them in your really typical ‘slow walk with power music’  going down and the directors should be commended for that. Also, anytime we can go Nerville-less in an episode of Annoying Orange we usually do OK.
