Bubble UK Exclusive: New Episodes of Gravity Falls Arriving in October
Since Alex Hirsch’s hit Disney Channel show, Gravity Falls first began airing in the UK last year its scheduling has been a little haphazard to say the least. Unfortunately this is par for the course with British TV timetables, episodes are rarely shown chronologically and you can’t always expect a season to run its full course.
In July of this year Disney Channel announced to the US it was renewing the Annie award winning show for a second season, news that was well received and long overdue, especially as fans were beginning to get edgy when the latter half of season one began wrapping up. On this side of the channel however, we have had no news and we still have half of the premiere series to go. Sick of seeing the new episodes talked about incessantly on tumblr (I don’t know who Bill Cipher is- Stop showing pictures of him!! ) I decided I could wait no longer and rang Disney XD earlier today for a chat.
I can now exclusively reveal the British Television premiere of the final episodes of Gravity Falls season 1 begin on the 7 th of October. So far, we have seen up to and including episodes 1-12, the last of which being Summerween. From the 7th to the 23rd of October you can catch the remaining episodes, 13-20 at 4.30, Monday to Wednesday. Unfortunately there is no confirmation of the second season, or the preceding shorts Alex Hirsch is rumoured to be making, coming to the UK but this is great news nonetheless. Thanks to Rachael over at Disney for the confirmation, I look forward to hearing about season 2 !!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
