New Matt Pinfield animated series debuts on MTV Hive

 

I’m honestly having a tough time following all of these MTV sites. From MTV Geek, Liquid TV, and now MTV Hive, I have no idea which one it is I’m supposed to like, but fortunately for me I really don’t like any of them. In any case, MTV Hive debuted a new series over the holiday featuring the legendary Matt Pinfield.

Anyone a fan of rock music knows who the fuck Matt Pinfield is and that goes double for anyone who grew up in Southern New Jersey as Matt used to front a one-time huge rock radio station called FM 106.3 before it shut down and Matt would work for NYC’s 92.3 K Rock where he’d play to quite a bigger sandbox. That said, Matt was a big influence on me as he introduced me to a lot of early to mid 90’s stuff like Alice in Chainz, Soundgarden, and Nine Inch Nails all bands that I still listen to on a regular basis (although AiC, less and less).

Welp, Matt’s new series called Rock Stories by Matt Pinfield  sounds right up my alley as according to the premier MTV Hive article, the veteran VJ recalls some of the wildest things he’s witnessed during his career and some of the best stories he’s been told. Check out the premier episode below:
