@RugBurnChannel posts gameplay footage of Apollo Gauntlet (@ApolloRB) 8-Bit game!
A long time ago, I did a review for a budding new show called Apollo Gauntlet. I promptly tore it a new one.
But then my good buddy Achille$ did a review and I began to see the error in my ways. Maybe I didn’t get it? Maybe that’s the point? Is it supposed to be that bad for a reason?
So I kept up with the season. I continued to not get it, but totally understand why. Dare I say the show almost became funny for a few moments? But deep down in my heart, I knew this show wasn’t for me. That is to say, until now… A couple days ago, RugBurn Channel posted roughly two minutes of game play from what could be an official, 8-bit, Atari style video game from the brand. Could this actually be real? Having seen so much of the show and now seeing the in game footage, I must say that the game actually looks a tad bit better in the aesthetics. Is it possible that taking pixels away from AG actually made it better or more watchable? You be the judge. A fair warning, however, the sounds and background song are God-awful. You should probably listen to the first few notes, but keep your finger on the mute button. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you.
To Quote Stan Marsh, “Token, I get it. I don’t get it” ::Token:: “And now you get it.”
Expect a full review from our BB Games dept if/when this ever becomes a real thing!
(@chefrichBB) really does like things. He’s not all negative reviews and rage. Well, most of the time anyway…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
