”The Looney Tunes Show” returns to Prime time this Tuesday Night on Cartoon Network
And its about friggin’ time!
Tonight airs the finale of one animated series with Fred Armisen, but starting this Tuesday Night another animated show with Fred Armisen is set to return to prime time on Cartoon Network! That’s right, starting Tuesday Night, April 23rd @ 8pm EST on Cartoon Network, The Looney Tunes Show returns with all new episodes! You may remember, Season 2 premiered in October in the prime time slot, but then moved the show a half hour earlier in the more Fringe part of the Tuesday Night lineup in favor of nonsense. But yea, expect a preview and a review next week!
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
