Review: The Simpsons “What Animated Women Want”
Spoilers Below
What do women want?? Who the hell knows! But, I guess sushi helps, however not so much for Marge whom is again pissed at Homer for some reason. Turns out she’s going crazy about Homer’s false promises and flowers ain’t gonna fix it. Homer’s gotta think of something else to win Marge over, but what? To start, Homer does a bunch of chores….from six years ago! Next, he gets a bunch of sushi in an effort to smooth things over but that doesn’t work either. So the last stop is a sex shop, where he buys a bunch of toys to retrofit the garage with. After a mishap, Homer wakes up in the hospital, and Marge forgives him.
Lisa starts to get smitten with Milhouse’s new attitude that is inspired by Marlon Brando’s character “A Streetcar Named Desire”. After seeking the school therapist, she condones Milhouse’s new attitude and he decides to keep being a jerk to win over Lisa whom is just eating it up. However, after the tree house crashes, Lisa starts to get frustrated with Milhouse despite the fact that she kinda helped him out. Thankfully, he drops the act and gives Lisa a cupcake. A LOT OF CUPCAKES!
When was the last time Homer J. Simpson ate a bunch of sushi?? The Homer I know eats PORK! That said, this week’s episode puts an interesting spin on an otherwise standard plot device with Marge and Homer going at it. The voice over element certainly helps spice things up a bit, and the Grampa act in the garage was pretty funny. Also, I love how the writers went a little dirty with the sex house, and I hope this is a trend that continues in different ways. Lisa and Milhouse were meh, but the voice over work from George Takei as the sushi chef and Wanda Sykes was stellar. Especially, George who clearly shows how versatile he is while on the voice over mic. No one knows what women really want, but who cares? You´re watching the Simpsons!

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
