‘Archer’ Gets Picked Up for Season 5

News to me, do you know what the SECOND highest rated show is on cable for guys? Archer! First is Walking Dead, but to be honest I didn’t know that first part. The folks at FX know good and well, because they picked up Archer for a Season 5 according to Deadline.com. Not only is the show being picked up for a new season, but FX plans to submit Archer for Emmy consideration for best comedy series. This is the first time since Family Guy that a network has supported an animated series for the comedy Emmy, but lets be real it won’t win. Why? Because the Emmys are pretty shitty, that’s why.
