REVISED START FOR NEW SEASON OF SQUIDBILLIES: BOYD SPECIAL!!!
Staff dude, Cybertron Messiah noticed the other night that Adult Swim ran a bump and it had to do with the new season of Squidbillies! Turns out that our originally guesstimated time frame was inaccurate and instead the series will happen this Fall on Adult Swim with all new episodes. Even better news, the bump mentioned that there will be a special revolving Boyd. For those who don’t know Boyd (played by Pete Smith) is the guy who runs the town convenience store that Early is frequently the customer at and is also the one who is constantly getting his arm shot off. The Boyd special is said to be going in depth on the character, as well as the said voice actor.
Not much more is known about the new season of Squidbillies, but no one else on the planet brings you more news about Adult Swim, so keep checking back and we will certainly get you guys the Squidbillies news you deserve!
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
