ARE ANIMATED PARODIES OF ‘STAR WARS’ NOW OVER THANKS TO DISNEY?
In related news, Seth MacFarlane was recently asked(and has been asked multiple times) about the future for Family Guy parodies of Star Wars that had helped launch the popular FOX animated series into the stratosphere in terms of popularity. Unfortunately, Seth did have a note about the Disney buy-out of Lucas and the potential future of anymore parodies which would probably focus on the three most recent Star Wars films, his response?
RT @tuesdayswimguy: WAIT! Since Star Wars was sold to Disney, does that mean no more family guy usage of it? // Alas, I’d bet money on it.

So, yea Rest In Peace to anymore Family Guy/ Star Wars parodies. But hey, I’m sure Star Trek is all over the table, right?

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
