REVIEW: REGULAR SHOW “PRANKLESS”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Pops is on the wrong end of a Muscle Man stunt gone awry and as a result the big guy gives up pranking…forever! However, according to Benson the park needed these pranks from Muscle Man to defend themselves against a rival park. Sure enough, the second Muscle Man gives up, the rival park owner Gene starts up his water balloon assault on Benson’s turf. To help combat, Mordecai and Rigby set off to prank the rival park while Benson goes to try and get back Muscle Man which turns out to be impossible because Muscles wants nothing to do with it.
Everything goes down hill from here, Mordecai and Rigby get tarred and feathered, while Skips and High Five get beat at their own game. To help get Muscle Man back, Benson tries to use Pops as part of the negotiation which ends up working like a charm. Guess what, Muscle Man returns! And to make a long story short, Gene loses out to Muscle Man in the greatest prank ever, and in exchange the rival pranking ends for good.
Our Take
So yea, although this week’s episode is not nearly as emotionally investing as the prior episode, it still made for a good time. I kept saying “Holy Shit” when Muscles was committing his prank against Gene which was just plain genius. Also, strangely enough I could not get enough of Skips, I mean for whatever reason his skipping was just extra silly and I was rolling. Regular Show might have the trophy retired for best show ever on Cartoon Network.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
