REVIEW: SQUIDBILLIES “RUSTY AND TAMMY SITTING IN A TREE, B-A-S-T-A-R-D”

Rusty’s got a baby on the way and Early’s in jail to start us off in our new season. But, with Early soon to post bail, Rusty’s baby-momma is worried about how the prison bait is going to act towards her and her child and as such wants nothing to do with him. To make matters worse, she’s concerned about Rusty’s lack of drive to get a new job as they are currently paying their medical bills with hogs and there’s only so many of those to get around!

Rusty decides to give up his dream of being a cage fighter and continues his gig working the deli at Ball Mart which is great but guess what?? Baby on the way!! That’s right, Rusty’s lady goes into labor and at first, she doesn’t even have a ride there, that is until Early shows up(actually he was outside hiding in her bushes the whole time) and revs up his truck to get to the hospital just in time. Unfortunately, Rusty doesn’t even make it there in time and as a result, loses custody of his son.

Kind of a downer near the end there, but overall a very interesting episode of Squidbillies that has a bunch of questions to it. For one, what’s going to happen with Rusty’s kid and two is it even his?? I actually shared in his worry that the kid has no striking resemblance what so ever to his father so one has to wonder what the hell is going on. Also, I couldn’t help but notice that as the seasons wore on, that Rusty is acting more and more like his daddy which is surprising because last season I thought Rust was going to be his own man and whatnot. Having said that, it’s good to see the Squids are back!
