REVIEW: GRAVITY FALLS “HEADHUNTERS”
Someone tapers with Mabel’s life-size wax statue.
Spoilers Below
Mabel decides to create her own wax statue after the kids stumble onto an old room that used to be a part of Stan’s wax figure exhibit. Mabel decides to make a statue that resembles her Uncle Stan and as a result the real life Stan decides to reopen the exhibit to everyone in town with the promise of free pizza! Welp, the free pizza part never happened but Stan becomes best pals with his wax statue only to discover its beheading!
Eventually, Mabel and Dipper decide to set off to find out who could have possibly caused the ‘murder’. To start, Dipper finds a couple of clues that could potentially lead them to the suspect. Whomever caused the crime had a hole in their shoe and used a left-handed axe, so the kids set off around town asking all the people who were at the opening only to find out that its the local news reporter. However, after a line of questioning(what no waterboarding??) the reporter is free of all charges and the kids are back to square one.
Uncle Stan decides to hold a funeral for his headless wax friend but the pressure is a bit too much and he leaves the room crying. Its here the kids find out who the murderer is! Let’s put it this way…have you ever seen Night at the Museum? Yep, the wax statues are alive and after a brutal fight with the kids they all end up as melted wax piles!
The last episode as part of Disney’s three part premier and the people at Gravity Falls really outdid themselves. With awesome vocal contributions coming from Coolio, Larry King, and John Oliver this might be one of the best episodes all season and slowly but surely the show is becoming one of the best new shows for 2012. Disney has a sure fire hit here, and I surely recommend this show for everyone. I mean no one in Gravity Falls’targeted audience are going to know who the three guest voices are, that’s what old guys like me(27) are for!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
