ITS WEBS-DAY!! “POST NUCLEAR FAMILY, KROGZILLA, “THE VENTRILOQUIST”
Krogzilla-Pilot
Imagine if Dilbert was formerly a monster who would terrorize cities? With humor that seems to be a bit inspired by Seinfeld or The Office, Krogzilla is probably the show with the most polish on Shut Up! Cartoons. For one its probably one of the best intros of all the programs, but you can also sense the experience of Cory Edwards(Hoodwinked) because the writing and is so much more astute than maybe 90% of the shows currently on the web. While its not as explicit as some of the other programs, Krogzilla is the closest Shut Up! has to a show you could see on FOX.

Post Nuclear Family-Ass Canabis
Everyone has done the post apocalyptic films and of course with shows like The Walking Dead and Falling Skies the genre is still doing well. Enter Post Nuclear Family which I would best describe as The Simpsons meets 28 Days Later. The animation is crisp and clean, the writing is pretty superb, and its probably one of the funniest shows on Mondo since maybe Dick Figures(as a matter of fact I think this one is better). With this particular episode you don’t get as strong of a balance with the family as you do the ancillary characters but the show is still really well done.

The Ventriloquist
Kevin Spacey has one of the most sterling reputations in all of Hollywood. From an outstanding film career with favorites such as Se7en, Usual Suspects, and American Beauty on his resume Spacey heads to the web in this dark comedy web series which pits Spacey’s character in different situations. This one has him as an amateur ventriloquist with a loud mouth dummy that keeps getting his owner in all sorts of trouble. This particular episode kind of reminds me of Mel Gibson in The Beaver but with maybe quite a bit safer results. The writing itself is funny however there’s a lot of running around and dead air that may put off the normal web show crowd even with a great plot.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
