“YOLO: Crystal Fantasy” Ordered To Series By Adult Swim

Original animation from Australia is getting more and more prevalent in 2020. Already, FXX has been airing their Psychotown series as part of the weekly series Cake to great fanfare and now Adult Swim is jumping in with an order for Yolo: Crystal Fantasy from Michael Cusack, best known as the producer for the Bushworld Adventures which turns two tomorrow as it was an April Fool’s Day prank in 2018.

The quarter-hour series produced by Princess Pictures premieres later this year and according to Variety follows Australian party girls Sarah and Rachel as they are looking for fun times, new experiences, positive vibes, and hopeful horoscopes in the bizarre town of Wollongong. Sarah’s quest is to find love, whereas Rachel hungers for chaos, often bringing them into conflict as they encounter surreal Australiana, strange bush creatures, and eccentric nomads.
