Writer For “The Simpsons” Cops To Predicting Murder Hornets

Neither I nor writer Bill Oakley are going to cop to The Simpsons predicting coronavirus because, quite frankly, it’s still not close. That said, maybe another part of the classic episode of The Simpsons entitled “Marge in Chains” could be added to the lore of the ever-growing list of prognostications bellowed by the longest-running animated sitcom in primetime.

That being this scene where a bunch of killer bees get out and begin terrorizing Springfield DURING the town’s own pandemic problems. Fans are drawing parallels to this scene and the recent news of the arrival of our lord and saviors the “murder hornets” who pose less of a threat to people and more of a threat to bees that make honey and pollinate flowers and make Spring pretty.

A new episode of The Simpsons premieres Sunday Night @ 8 pm ET only on FOX, here’s more information about that.

Synopsis:
