Family Guy Celebrates 25 Year Run

Family Guy is celebrating a 25 year run and doing so in style. The show recently wrapped it's 22nd season and creator Seth MacFarlane says the series isn't ending "anytime soon".

Seth MacFarlane has reconfirmed his intention on making a Family Guy feature-length motion picture and even has the plot in mind. Additionally, Hulu has ordered two holiday specials to premiere later this year, one for Halloween, the other for Christmas.

One episode that will be a part of the show’s 23rd season is entitled “The Edible Arrangement” and in it both Stewie and Lois take some of Brian’s gummies that will allow Lois to hear Stewie talk for the first time allowing the two to discuss why Stewie used to have a vendetta against his mother for all of those years.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has also made news this week by making a large investment to the Martin Scorsese Film Foundation for the preservation and restoration of nine classic animated shorts including Koko’s TattooLittle NobodyThe Little StrangerGreedy Humpty DumptyPeeping Penguins, Two-Gun Rusty, The Three Bears,  The Fresh Vegetable Mystery, and So Does An Automobile.
