Watch: Michaela Muller Reminds Us Why It Sucks Going To The Airport In New Short Film
And let’s face it,she’s totally in the right on this one.
Michaela Muller’s new animated short film Airport just screened in Portland yesterday, and for those that don’t know, the film explores the borders between the right to freedom of movement and the restrictions national security requirements put on society. In a modern day airport, the flow of passengers is broken by sudden irregularities. Security forces try to get to the cause of the disruption, the atmosphere turns menacing at the slightest anomaly. Tragedy and panic are always just one step away.
Check out the director’s website for upcoming screenings.
On that link, you’ll notice a rather awesome website featuring a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes stills of producing the “painted on glass” look for the series along with the below teaser, credits, and awards.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
