Watch: Cast And Crew Talk Up “Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge”

Warner Bros Animation has commemorated the digital release of their newest R-Rated animated film, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge with a string of interviews via-video cast panel which talks the behind the scenes stuff.

Without further ado, here’s the panel itself, featuring the voice cast of MK Legends which consists of three of the main cast members Joel McHale, Jordan Rodrigues, and Patrick Seitz. Along with Producer Rick Morales, Screenwriter Jeremy Adams and finally Mortal Kombat’s co-creator Ed Boon from NetherRealm Studios who also served as the film’s creative consultant.

Our Take

While the interviews themselves are fun to watch, it helps newbies unfamiliar with the animation process to understand why certain decisions were made. However, based on observation, I notice that during the interview the many shout-outs they give to the two games within the franchise “Mortal Kombat X” and “Mortal Kombat 11” as their major influences which show in both the character designs and their signature moves whenever they play preview clips of the animated feature itself.
