Voice Of American Dad’s “Steve” Teases A New Song For Upcoming Season

American Dad is currently in production for a couple of seasons and it looks like we’ll be hearing that sweet child-like singing voice from the one and only Scott Grimes in an upcoming episode that will see “Steve” do another one of his heralded renditions. Details of the episode and the specifics of the song are under wraps at the moment, but we do know that Scott is teaming up with Nick Marzock for production of the new number. Scott Grimes posted the news on Instagram.

This wouldn’t be the first-time “Steve” has charmed us with his vocal duties. Tracks like “Daddy’s Gone”, “Livin’ on the Run” and “Sunset Blvd” are just a smattering of singles that Scott Grimes has produced and even released as part of a solo album called Sunset Blvd.

American Dad was recently renewed for both an 18th and 19th seasons which are underway with the rest of season 16 and the start of the show’s 17th season slated to drop later this year.

Synopsis:

Stan Smith is a CIA agent painfully dedicated to homeland security. His home life includes doting wife Francine, a ditzy housewife, liberal daughter Hayley and socially awkward teenaged son Steve. Also living in the family’s Langley Falls, Va., home are Klaus, a goldfish with the brain of an East German Olympic ski jumper, and Roger, an escaped alien from Area 51, who Stan houses in defiance of his employer due to owing Roger a “life debt.” Sounds just like the typical American family, right? Maybe not.
