Updates On Netflix Anime: Seis Manos @ SDCC2019 ; Carole & Tuesday Gets First Half Premiere Date

The first part of Netflix’s Carole & Tuesday is set to stream twelve episodes on August 30th. Carole & Tuesday is an upcoming anime television series produced by studio Bones, in commemoration for the studio’s 20th anniversary. Flying Lotus and Ken Watanabe are collaborating on the series.


 

Ahead of the series’ preview at San Diego Comic-Con, Netflix original Mexican-set anime series Seis Manos has showcased a new poster. Here’s information for the panel happening Saturday, July 20th. The anime series is slated to premiere Fall 2019.

A star-studded showcase featuring an incredible lineup of voice cast and creative talent behind Seis Manos, an upcoming Netflix Original anime series. Launching later this year worldwide, Seis Manos is produced by VIZ Media and Powerhouse Animation Studios (Castlevania). Hear from the lead voice cast alongside co-creator and showrunner Brad Graeber, writer and co-creator Alvaro Rodriguez(Machete), and writer Daniel Dominguez (Oishi High School Battle), as they dive into the action-packed world of Seis Manos !

Seis Manos is a new series set in Mexico in the 1970’s era ordered to series by Netflix. Seis Manos centers on three orphaned martial arts warriors who join forces with a DEA agent and a Mexican Federale to battle for justice after their beloved mentor is murdered on the streets of their tiny border town.

The series is being produced by Viz Media with Development and production of Seis Manos being handled by Powerhouse Animation, Inc (based in Austin, Texas)., which produced the Netflix original anime show Castlevania. The series is co-created by Powerhouse CEO Brad Graeber and writer Alvaro Rodriguez (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series). Also a writer on the series is Dan Dominguez (Captain Underpants, Spongebob Squarepants, Crash and Bernstein), and the series will be directed by Willis Bulliner (Agents of Mayhem, storyboards on Netflix’s Castlevania).
