UK: BBC Announces “Tonight with Vladmir Putin” With A CG-Animated “Vladmir” As The Star

Move over Our Cartoon President!

BBC Two has ordered two pilots for a Tonight with Vladmir Putin, a new late-night talk show that will see an animated Vladmir Putin, yes the same Vlad that has been the President of Russia for the better part of the last three decades.

The two quarter-hour pilots will see Vlad as part of a semi-scripted affair in front of a live audience with interviews featuring such guests as Alastair Campbell, June Sarpong, and Joe. June will be featured in the first episode where she’ll talk about her career and be part of a game called “Diversity Challenge”.
