Toy News For “The Simpsons” & “Final Space”

It may not be Funko, but as long as something is coming by way of Final Space toys, color us excited! It appears Youtooz is teasing the reveal of new Final Space-inspired toys. So far, the image reveal seems to indicate figures inspired by Quinn Ergon (voiced by Tika Sumpter) and Gary Goodspeed (voiced by show creator Olan Rogers). No announcement as yet to availability or whether or not additional characters inspired by the show will be made available, but when we find out, we will let you know.

Final Space is a serialized intergalactic space saga about an astronaut named Gary and his adorable, planet-destroying friend, Mooncake. Follow their adventures as they embark on a quest to unlock the mystery of Final Space, the place where the entire universe ends. Currently, Final Space is premiering it’s third season on Adult Swim on Saturday Nights @ 1030 pm ET/PT, check your local listings, because this season has been pretty friggin’ great. The first two seasons are streaming now on HBO MAX.

Speaking of HBO MAX, who saw the Sector 7-G shout out on Godzilla vs Kong? Loved it, and it just goes to show that The Simpsons is a primetime animated classic series that continues to make waves in pop culture. To prove it, KidRobot is releasing a new toy inspired by the show for “Stupid Sexy Flanders” slated for release Q3 2021. The 8″ vinyl figure is currently available for pre-order for around $70 and you can get it here.

The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, THE SIMPSONS exploded into popular culture in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE are instantly identifiable television icons. Rounding out this cast of characters are many beloved Springfield residents, including tavern proprietor MOE SZYSLAK (Hank Azaria) and nuclear power plant owner MR. BURNS (Harry Shearer). The Emmy Award-, Annie Award- and Peabody Award-winning animated comedy will begin its 32nd season this year and will celebrate a landmark 700 episodes this spring. Additional upcoming guest voice stars this season include Olivia Colman, Hannibal Buress, Ben Platt and Michael Palin.

THE SIMPSONS is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean are the executive producers. The Gracie Films Worldwide Brand Division develops and produces the licensed content for the series.
