“The Simpsons” Will Invade “Upfest 2018”

One of the most iconic of classic scenes from The Simpsons is Bart Simpson spray painting graffiti on walls all over town. Today, that lives on as it’s been announced that the largest street art festival in the world, Upfest – The Urban Paint Festival for 2018, will feature graffiti art from some of the world’s biggest aficionados that will paint their own interpretations of characters Bart, Maggie, Lisa, Homer, and Marge.

Show producer Matt Groening has personally selected artists  Bao, Soker and Nomad Clan to muck up the sidewalks of Bedminster and Southville neighborhoods. The trio is but a smattering of the 400 artists, by way of 70 countries, taking part in the event that is expected to draw 50,000 visitors.
