“The Simpsons”: Someone Made A Workable Version Of “Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge”

Some maniac named Aaron Demeter produced an actual working game inspired by The Simpsons called “Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge”.

If you don’t know, Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge was a game given to Bart Simpson by Marge in the episode entitled “Marge Be Not Proud”. The premise of the episode revolved around Bart attempting to shoplift a game called Bonestorm but is caught and then subsequently marginalized by the rest of the family that want nothing to do with his thieving ways. Fortunately, as the episode comes to a close, Bart comes around and gets Marge a present. In exchange, Marge gifts the golf simulator that you can now play.

The episode was written by, and inspired by a real-life event, Mike Scully who is the creator of FOX’s Duncanville and is also famous for featuring Lawrence Tierney as a guest star who reportedly wasn’t the easiest cameo to work with when it came time to producing.

New episodes of The Simpsons return this Fall on FOX.
