“The Simpsons” In The News: Sunday’s Upcoming Episode ; EP Gets New Agency

 

 

Entertainment Weekly has a first-look at Sunday’s all-new episode of The Simpsons and you can see it here.

The episode is entitled “The Hateful Eight-Year-Olds” and it features guest stars Lili Reinhart as Bella-Ella, Joey King as Addy, Madelaine Petsch as Sloan, Lilly Singh as Kensey, Camila Mendes as Tessa Rose, and Weezer as Themselves. In it, Lisa makes a new friend who loves horses, but then becomes part of a circle of snooty young rich girls. Also, Homer takes Marge on a romantic cruise.

In related news, it was announced recently that executive producer for The Simpsons Al Jean has signed with the Gersh Agency for representation.

Synopsis:

The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, THE SIMPSONS exploded into popular culture in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE are instantly identifiable television icons. Rounding out this cast of characters are many beloved Springfield residents, including tavern proprietor MOE SZYSLAK (Hank Azaria) and nuclear power plant owner MR. BURNS (Harry Shearer). The Emmy Award-, Annie Award- and Peabody Award-winning animated comedy will begin its 31st season this year.
