The Simpsons Hit & Run Sequel Pitch From The Developers

I would say once or twice a year news kicks up about The Simpsons Hit & Run, the Grand Theft Auto game with the body of The Simpsons. The hit game from Radical Entertainment, the same studio that also did the Beavis and Butt-Head for Sega Genesis and the fantastic Prototype series, was supposed to have a sequel way back in 2007 with plans being drawn up and everything but none of it would come to pass, most likely due to the fact that Vivendi games isn’t even in business anymore and The Simpsons is now an Electronic Arts property.

Still though, that hasn’t stopped the developers of the game to do your occasional interview about The Simpsons Hit & Run, most recently with MinnMax where the devs talked up what the hell happened with the sequel and whether or not it’s even possible that a sequel COULD happen after all of these years.

Check out a clip below to listen to the interview. The Simpsons return on December 3rd with new episodes on FOX.

Synopsis:

There are strange happenings in Springfield. People are missing, very mysterious crop circles are appearing, and hidden cameras are being exposed. When Homer notices a black van with a satellite dish parked outside the Simpsons house, he decides to investigate further into these odd events. What he reveals could be the biggest mystery to rock Springfield since Who Shot Mr. Burns? The Simpsons Hit & Run promises a hilarious mission based driving game with exciting out-of-the-car platform gameplay, the signature satire of The Simpsons, and the interactive world of Springfield.
