The Quick Story Behind “A Tale of Two Trumps”
These guys are fast!
Despite South Park, Our Cartoon President, and others doing similar, The Simpsons are still hitting the Trump Administration with consistent jabs in their Trump mini-series and now we’ve got a new one entitled “A Tale of Two Trumps”.
Turns out, the idea came about a couple of weeks back when short director David Silverman, James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Matt Selman, and Al Jean talked out an original Matt Groening idea that would eventually become an Al Jean written piece. As time went on, Brooks and Jean would continue to throw in additional highlights inspired by the current happenings. Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson) stars as Trump alongside Carolyn Omine.
