‘The Muppets’ get premier date on ABC; Mobile Theater Tour; SDCC 2015?

Set to premier on ABC this Fall, The Muppets have not only a Fall premier date, but they have announced a Summer tour that will surely get people all over the country excited.

For those that don’t know, The Muppets return to prime time with a series that, for the first time ever, will explore the Muppets’ personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, break-ups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires; a more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages.

The premier date is set for ABC on September 22nd @ 8 pm ET/PT, but fans in a select number of cities won’t have to wait until the Fall because ABC is sending out a mobile theater for fans to pre-screen a 10 minute-presentation that should give people a deeper look into what they are getting into this September.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the screenings will take place in a Cinetransformer, a 91-seat mobile cinema that is housed inside a 53-foot double-expandable trailer that is said to replicate every facet of a movie theater experience. A San Diego Comic Con panel featuring The Muppets is also in the works, but has not been dated yet. Watch a trailer for The Muppets and here are the dates for the tour:
