The Good News/Bad News About “Rick and Morty” On AdultSwim.com

This isn’t as bad as it seems.

Fans on social media are furious about Adult Swim’s surprise announcement on Sunday night concerning Rick and Morty on Adultswim.com. It used to be, Adult Swim’s website would stream those episodes for anyone, but now the network is going back to requiring a “cable gate” in order to watch the network’s biggest animated franchise of all-time.

Does this news suck? Meh, personally, I only watch Rick and Morty on my paid cable television anyway, so it doesn’t bother me much. But, look at the bright side, at least you guys have no compelling reason to sit and watch that horseshit Ricking Morty webcast talk show the network puts on afterward. Already the stream numbers for that thing is WAY down week over week and is probably because all of those “After Show” talk shows produced by the network suck because they are totally biased opinions paid for by the network and you seldom hear any REAL insight.

It’s actually way worse than the new Rick and Morty: Origins Youtube videos the network is producing. Don’t get me wrong, I love Rick and Morty, but anyone who thinks producing an animated series is all roses like the way THIS thing was edited will be disappointed how it is in real life. Again, an unbiased take on the subject would be the correct way to view such things no matter how well it is written/produced by Adult Swim.
