Teaser Trailer for ‘CFB Detective’ Released
CFB Detective (or College Football Detective) just leaked its first, extremely brief, trailer – and I gotta say we’re excited.
As a huge college football fan, I thoroughly enjoy that the two main detective characters are named after famous head coaches Houston Nutt and Gene Chizik, as well as the fact that the show’s cast is made up of college football writers, bloggers, and podcasters.
Produced by Charles Evans and David Harris, the show follows the detectives as they track down a bad guy named Yellow Hat who is killing college mascots. It is loosely based (according to the show’s site, “super loose, like Bobby Petrino loose,”) on HBO’s True Detective. They promise it will be the greatest animated college football detective show of all time, and there’s about a hundred-percent chance of that being true.
The first season will consist of eight YouTube episodes that will eventually be available on DVD. However, it isn’t expected anytime soon; they still need to run a Kickstarter campaign, and that doesn’t even begin until next Monday, August 18th.
But if you check out the trailer, you’ll see why it would be a good idea to stay tuned.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
