Syfy Hires A Couple Of Dummies For New Late-Night Talk Show “The Movie Show”

Syfy has ordered 12 episodes for a brand-new late-night talk show called The Movie Show. The series has a public access vibe to it where the puppet hosts talk about movies and it will premiere with two sneak peek episodes on Nov. 27th and 29th respectively @ 1135 pm ET before it premieres December 3rd @ 11 pm ET.

Taped deep in the heart of Modesto, California, THE MOVIE SHOW is hosted by polar opposites, Deb and Wade (voiced by Adam Dubowsky and Alex Stone), who have nothing in common other than their shared love of movies and the fact that they’re both puppets. Each week, they dish out their hot takes on upcoming blockbuster movies, including “Wonder Woman 1984,” “Dune” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3” as well as classic, fan-favorite films, such as “Back to the Future,” “Jumanji” and “Apollo 13.” The show will feature exclusive deleted scenes and a star-studded line up of interview guests like the shark from “Jaws” and Steven King’s laptop. Deb and Wade will also catch-up with everyone’s favorite movie stars of yesteryear like the T-Rex from “Jurassic Park,” Splinter from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and many more.

Series Premiere: Dec. 3; Thursdays on SYFY (11-11:30 p.m. ET)
