Star Trek: Lower Decks: Season Three Ordered ; Season Two Scheduled ; Season One Home Release Scheduled

In what was probably a foregone conclusion with creator Mike McMahan getting an overall deal at Viacom CBS, Star Trek: Lower Decks has been ordered for a 10-episode third season slated to premiere on Paramount+. In the meantime, 10 episodes of Star Trek: Lower Decks season two has been announced to premiere on August 12th only on Paramount+ and a teaser trailer can be seen below. The animated comedy series STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS follows the support crew on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380. Ensigns Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Boimler (Jack Quaid), Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) and Tendi (Noël Wells) have to keep up with their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies.
