“Star Trek: Lower Decks” Ordered For Two Seasons For CBS All-Access

From Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty; Solar Oppositescomes a brand-new adult animated series set in the Star Trek universe called Star Trek: Lower Decks. The series which will focus on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships is said by producer Alex Kurtzman, whose studio Secret Hideout is teaming up with CBS Eye Animation Productions, to be about “the people who put the yellow cartridge in the food replicator so a banana can come out the other end.” The series has been ordered for two seasons.
