Squidbillies: And The New Voice Of Early Cuyler Is…

Adult Swim had been teasing a bunch of names to take over Unknown Hinson’s role of “Early Cuyler” on Squidbillies all last week. Well known names like George Lowe, Dave Willis, Summer Grammer, and Steve Blum had been floated but now we have an official big named star to take over the reigns after 12 seasons…Tracy Morgan.

That’s right, my fellow NJ native Tracy Morgan takes over for Unknown Hinson as the voice of Early for the 13th season of Squidbillies which kicks off this Sunday Night with two brand-new episodes that kick off at midnight ET/PT, so check your local listings.

Tracy Morgan had previously done voice roles for such adult animation fare like Where My Dogs At?, Crank Yankers, Mr. Pickles, The Simpsons, and a number of kids franchises.

Synopsis:

Early Cuyler is a redneck squid who was sentenced to 15 years in jail but finds out he has an illegitimate son named Rusty. Rusty is being raised by his Aunt Lil who is teaching him how to run a hair salon, which she does when she isn’t running a crystal meth lab. When the sheriff takes pity on Early and lets him out of jail early to go raise his son he must find a way to raise his squidbilly son and maintain the terms of his parole.
