Some Fan Pitched A “Futurama” LEGO Set And I’m Only Here For That Now

Despite the fact that we haven’t had new episodes of Futurama in what seems like eons, the franchise is still as strong is ever buoyed by numerous syndication deals on the likes of Hulu and Syfy and merchandise that is continuing to be produced. So, why NOT a LEGO set?

The LEGO website has kind of a crowdsource bit where fans can post ideas for LEGO sets to be produced with fans voting on whether that’s a good idea or not. In this case, user TommyW has pitched an idea, with pictures, of a Futuramai-inspired LEGO playset that, as of this writing, has nearly 4,000 likes and will probably at least double now that we’ve posted it.

The next idea, obviously, would be the inevitable animated crossover that The Simpsons and Star Wars have already done…any takers?
