‘Simpsons’-Inspired Donuts are Coming to San Fran
Courtesy of the delicious bastards at Dynamo Donut and the creative minds at the A.C.T. Theater in San Francisco, Simpsons pastries – or “D’oh Nuts” – will soon be a reality in honor of the new show Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play.
Though the pink-frosted, besprinkled treats may seem ordinary to the casual observer, they’re actually light vanilla and orange zest cake delights with a tart, raspberry Belgian-style beer glaze, and rainbow jimmies.
They’ll be available for the show’s entire run – February 18 to March 15 — at Dynamo franchises in the Mission and Marina Green, in addition to the A.C.T. Theater itself.
There are also reports of a Duff-like German kolsch called “Burns’ Brew” that will reportedly be sold by nearby Bartlett Hall. Bring your ticket stub to the bar before or after the show for a free app pairing. No word on weather or not Düff, from Sweden, will also be served.
As for details on the play itself, according to the American Conservatory Theater website:
In a post-apocalyptic Northern California, a group of strangers bond by recreating the infamous “Cape Feare” episode of The Simpsons. From this fortuitous meeting, distant memories of “Marge” and “Homer” become the basis for shaping a new society as the play travels decades into the future.
So grab a bite and catch a show for a fun-filled & tasty, Homer-approved, Simpsons night out. You won’t even need to dance with a stripper named Princess Kashmir to make it memorable.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
