Hollywood elitism features with it a wide range of personality brands ranging from super sweet and nice to a bit over the top (see: MetGala) then onward to monster assholes like Harvey Weinstein. From everything I’ve heard, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is a heck of a nice guy. He probably tweets more about the environment than he does any personal causes, and despite being successful in a number of different mediums ranging from film, music, and of course, television, Seth takes the time to lovingly reach out to his fans.
Recently, a Reddit user named Joshua excitedly posted his fan mail reply from Seth MacFarlane after writing the recent Hollywood Walk of Fame inductee. Seth didn’t have to do that, and Christ knows, a lot of famous people probably don’t. However, hearing that Seth MacFarlane has written a note back to one of his adoring fans sounds status quo to the Seth I hear about all the time. Seth remembers the days in which he was just a super fan which was recently sneak peeked by Entertainment Weekly in celebration of the upcoming Inside Family Guy book set to release next Tuesday.
And Joshua isn’t the only fan to have received a return letter reply. Various replies to the original post showcase a legion of Seth MacFarlane’s fans with similar stories of hand-written responses that continues to provide proof of what we probably know already. Seth MacFarlane, a heck of a nice guy.
Family Guy’s season finale airs this Sunday Night @ 9pm ET/PT, only on FOX. Check your local listings.
