Sega Dreamcast Nearly Had A Game Inspired By “The Simpsons”

While fans still pine for some sort of reboot  or sequel for The Simpsons: Hit and Run we’re hit with another dose of game nostalgia inspired by the longest-running animated series in primetime history known as “The Simpsons: Bug Squad” that would have been made for the Sega Dreamcast had anybody actually purchased a Sega Dreamcast.

Instead, a walk-through demo recently surfaced that features a fly in an almost action-platformer, flying around 742 Evergreen Terrace in a cel-shaded atmosphere that actually looks way ahead of it’s time. The series was produced by Red Lemon Studios, but it took the internet to try and get the game operational. Check out the result below.

Unfortunately, you can’t get this for that fan of The Simpsons in your life for X-Mas, but maybe you can get this new Ned Flanders Funko from Hot Topic instead?
