See George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin as Newlywed ‘Simpsons’ Characters

By now the entire world has heard the shocking and deeply troubling news that George Clooney is officially off the market after recently tying the knot with attorney Amal Alamuddin. I know, I know: this is a life altering event. Not for the couple involved, but for a world of smitten ladies and gay men who dreamt Clooney might still change his mind (and sexual orientation) at the last minute. Even as a straight man, I too still held out hope that America’s favorite silver fox would one day knock on my door and whisk me away to Neverland. Nothing sexual, folks, just some quality man time. And okay, maybe a little cuddling.

Anyway, now that our future plans have been dashed by the Clooney wedding, the next logical step is for the event to be memorialized…by being Simpson-ized in cartoon form.

Enter aleXsandro Palombo, the same artist that gave the Simpsons treatment to Kate Middleton in a previous post of ours. The picture collection, posted to HumorChic, includes a huge number of outfits, and Palombo once again nailed both the fashion, and the general appearances of the bride and groom on their special day. However, I will say that it’s next to impossible to accurately represent Clooney’s good looks as an animated character. Especially one with yellow skin.

In the end, I think I speak for everyone when I say that I wholeheartedly wish the newlyweds a very happy divorce.
