Season Review: AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE FOREVER

aqua teen forever
Warning, spoilers possibly below?
The last season of Aqua Teen is now behind us, and what a [spirit] journey [formation anniversary] it’s been.  Let us doth talk about this final season. A season of highs, and a season of lows.  What have we learned? Where do we go from here? WHO IS THE DRIZZLE?  Let’s get into it.
First thing is first, this season was short – or at least it felt short.  I just looked back and hath learned that most seasons were actually only about 10ish episodes long, so i guess this was pretty averagely long.  But man, did it go by fast – maybe its just because i know that it’s end marks the end of the whole series or maybe its because the 15 minutes long episodes pale in comparison to the normal 30 to 60 minute long sagas i’ve been watching these days.  Either way, I would have loved to have about 10 more episodes.  Oh well.
Anyway, now on to the actual substance.  This season was good.  I’d say that the highs of the last two episodes certainly evened out the lows of such calamities as the Brain Fairy and the not-so-on-the-mark first episode of the season “Mouth Quest”.
Is this my favorite season? No, i’ll keep it all the way real, it is not. Is it in the top 3? Still probably not.  Is it still worth watching? Most definitely braj.  The LAST season, it’s historic – it certainly has a special place in the series.
So how does this season stack up numerically?  Over the course of this seasons 9 episodes it racked up a total of 77 points, which divided over its 9 episodes comes to an average of 8.55 – that’s pretty solid.  If you’d like to know more about how each episode stacked up take a look back at my previous reviews and let me give it all to you pretty baby.  I speak all kinds of words to you internet.
Watch it, live it, love it.  AQUA TEEN, I SALUTE YOU – FOREVER.
