SDCC2019 Recap: Funimation Sneaks “My Hero Academia” English Dub ; Fire Force Delayed Until Further Notice

Let’s get stronger.

My Hero Academia’s English dub reveal of the show’s fourth season (slated to premiere October 12th, 2019) was a nice way to lift up the spirits of anime fans this week. Check out a clip below:

In a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered Quirk, Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that won’t stop him from enrolling in a prestigious hero academy. Now, he’ll get his first taste of brutal rivalry from other schools as he braves the cutthroat, no-holds-barred provisional license exam.

Don’t expect any new English dubbed episodes of Fire Force for the time being. We’re hearing that with the show being all about firefighters and with the recent arson terrorist attack in Japan that the delay is out of respect to those who recently passed. While the show is expected to resume, it won’t be anytime soon, however, the show WILL make a Toonami premiere starting on July 28th. Here’s a new clip:
