SDCC2018: “Bob’s Burgers” Panel Recap

Can’t we all just have a good time?

I guess it wouldn’t be a panel in Southern California without one of the panels being flanked with inquiries from the social justice warriors of Twitter. Instead of being a panel all about the upcoming season of Bob’s Burgers, which it is, a question pertaining to why the women characters of Bob’s Burgers being voiced by men came up which of course led to a discussion on gender inequality which is somewhat ludicrous when you consider that just a half hour sooner on the FOX lineup, major male characters from The Simpsons like Bart, Rod, Todd, Nelson, Milhouse, and others are all in fact voiced by women. We’ll get into this more later, but this is Comic-Con, not DC. Next…

Multiple clips were shown for the ninth season of Bob’s Burgers, expect to see the Belchers slowly dominate in quality holiday episodes again this season with Halloween and Thanksgiving already being plugged. Also expect to see Tina try and replace the lead singer of her favorite band and we even got some insight into the upcoming Bob’s Burgers movie. Check out clips below to learn more:
