Rooster Teeth News: Red vs Blue ; gen:LOCK

 

Rooster Teeth’s co-head of animation Sean Hinz recently spilled upcoming details on the next iteration of Red vs Blue known as Family Shatters. 

Red vs. Blue: Family Shatters is an upcoming non-canonical spinoff series of Red vs. Blue: Zero which follows Shatter Squad in a series of slice-of-life shorts. The spinoff is set to premiere on October 20th, 2021, with a full trailer set to release on September 30th. The series is being teased like a traditional machinima, however, will be animated similar to Red vs Blue: Zero. 

Red vs Blue season 19 will have some sort of announcement, but not until 2022. The series will continue the story of the Shatter Squad and will be produced utilizing a tool the producers had built in Unreal Engine 4 that will make it easier to produce the show remotely.
