Rooster Teeth Celebrating 16 Years In Business This Monday With Special Promotions

Here’s what’s going down.

Rooster Teeth turns 16 on April 1st which means in some states the streaming service is old enough to drive while under supervision. That, and the company will be dishing out a couple of killer promotions to help celebrate the special occasion. First up, April 1st will see Rooster Teeth First be available for free for 24 hours for all non-subscribers. That means if you’ve been wanting to check out the new season of Red vs Blue, the fuss over the company’s newest franchise gen: Lock, and all of the recently acquired content from Machinima and you HAVEN’T subscribed to Rooster Teeth well then here’s your chance.

Also to celebrate Rooster Teeth’s 16th Anniversary, 80Arcade and Rooster Teeth are offering limited time content in RWBY Deckbuilding Game, the free-to-play digital card game recently launched for PC via Steam, Android via Google Play and on the App Store for iOS devices.

Players that log in between now and April 1 will have the opportunity to unlock an exclusive 16th Anniversary sleeve to use on the Battleboard. To access the sleeve, players just need to complete three quick matches during the promotional period.

Also available for the first time during this period is the new ‘Celebration’ Battleboard. Available for 2000 Dust, players can purchase the ‘Celebration’ Battleboard to commemorate Rooster Teeth’s 16th Anniversary at every turn of a match.

RWBY Deckbuilding Game, meshes the best of digital card games with the beloved anime-style characters of RWBY. The game is set in the world of Remnant with fan-favorites characters including Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren. Players build their decks as they play by buying cards from a shared pool to create powerful synergies and conquer their opponents and powerful in-game bosses. With a variety of modes including raids and Relic Adventure you’ll be able to match up against AI or up to three friends.
