“Rick and Morty” Writers: Where Are They Now? All Over The Place…But Mostly Marvel (As Of June 2021)

That’s not to say anyone listed here hasn’t worked in television before, in most examples, that isn’t the case. But, there’s something about Rick and Morty that acts as a springboard for a lot of careers. Ahead of the show’s fifth season, it’s interesting to note that the season five premiere of Rick and Morty will be the final episode from longtime writer Jeff Loveness. That said, a bunch of former writers for the show have been in the news over the last couple of years for awesome projects, most notable from Disney’s Marvel who has claimed the likes of ex-fellow Rick and Morty writers like Jessica Gao, Michael Waldron, and Loveness. With ten episodes on the way, it will be interesting to see if anybody else snags a few more Rick and Morty writers before it’s all said and done.

Jeff Loveness

Jeff’s final credited episode of Rick and Morty will be the show’s fifth season premiere entitled “Mort Dinner Rick Andre”, but Jeff’s also penning the script for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, further proof that someone at Disney is a huge Rick and Morty fan.

Before that a number of amazing episodes of Rick and Morty season four have Jeff’s named credited on them including “Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim’s Morty”, “Never Ricking Morty”, “Promortyus”, and “The Vat of Acid Episode” which would go on to be an Emmy-winning episode.
