Review: Welcome to the Wayne”It’s the Mid-Season Finale”

Overview (Spoilers Below)

When Rainbow gas threatens the Wayne, Olly and Ansi have to team up with their favorite TV heroes to save the day with the power of sausages against the likes of The Spy who has also kidnapped Andrei. Meanwhile, Saraline gets to make a decision that could potentially impact one of both futures. She makes her move thinking that she has cured both “worst case scenarios” that were being presented to her by Stanza, only to find out that the worst may yet be on the horizon.

Our Take

The biggest thing hurting this franchise is the shitty TV networks it’s on. Welcome to the Wayne is a serial series that requires you watch all of the previous episodes before you get to this one, and you wanna know when that happened? A YEAR AGO! It’s a total dick-elodeon move that has seen the likes of Harvey Beaks and Pig Goat Banana Cricket tumble due to the same lack of network support.

If I were the producers, I would’ve used the last year to perhaps produce a recap portion of the episode to kind of get both new and existing fans of the franchise up to speed, but overall Welcome to the Wayne kicks off the second half of their first season with a captivating adventure the likes of which we really don’t get any more since the death of Gravity Falls all those years ago.
