Review: Welcome to the Wayne “Leave the Funny, Find the Bunny”
It just keeps going.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
It’s the Wayne talent show and Ansi and Olly decide to team up for a magic act. When they commandeer a rabbit as part of their act the rabbit goes berserk and attempts to hypnotize the audience. Eventually, the rabbit is able to control Wendell to do its evil bidding, but with the power of Saraline’s bad jokes, the rabbit is apprehended before it can do any real harm.
Our Take
Talent shows are usually a serviceable plot device for an animated series, and for the most part, Wayne nails it. We don’t get anything truly original, and for my money, Brickleberry will win the battle of evil animated rabbits any day of the week, but the thoughtful plot and rather morbid nature of the talent show (dude, Ansi gets sawed in half), was enough for me. No real updates to the Andre saga here, but the talent is here.
