Review: The Loud House & The Casagrandes Hangin’ At Home Special

On a stay-at-home video chat, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne cover everything from fashion fails to fave TV shows; featuring new & old footage, that makes the proceedings a crossover/clip-show of sorts.


Our Take

This was somewhat unexpected yet welcoming as I shouldn’t be surprised given Nickelodeon’s track record of crossing over characters within their own animated TV shows (Remember When Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron did it?). Many of the jokes have their fun moments that heavily rely on the goofy antics of their excessively large families while also updating each other about their friends & school lives and even TV shows through a Skype-like video conversation.

But aside from the fun interactions between the two, Ronnie Anne has a “Big Surprise” to share that seems to be the other major selling point of this episode as it’s frequently emphasized within the promotional material. Of course when we finally get there, the aforementioned “surprise” Ronnie Anne kept teasing turns out to be something that isn’t the most spectacular, but was fun enough to reward longtime fans of both shows, and the crossover itself can also serve as a jumping-on point for people new to both shows as well.
