Review: The Loud House “Ruthless People”

Face in the mud I’m fucking ruthless

Overview (Spoilers Below)

The entire Loud family has to leave the premises while the house is being fumigated with termites, but they all can’t go in the same place so they split into two teams…one headed by mom the other by dad. Dad’s team fears going to Aunt Ruth’s so they make deals with Mom’s team to switch places and go to Pop-pop’s for what sounds like the way more relaxing end of the stick. Unfortunately, the crew gets there and learn that the place is a mess and decide to make new deals with Mom’s side of the family to go back to Aunt Ruth’s lake house. Dad’s side does just that, but learn that termites have infested this house too and so they have to go to their originally picked Aunt Ruth’s house. Meanwhile, the other half of the family is loving the new yacht they get to hang out on after the A/C at Pop-pop”s break down.

Our Take

In what was probably the best written of this premiere week for The Loud House, the important moral of “take what life gives you” rears its ugly head and does so in a humourous manner that should entertain viewers. That and don’t fuck with termites.
